Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Eddie Bert (born May 16, 1922, Yonkers, New York) is an American bebop jazz trombonist. His first job as a musician came in 1940 when he joined the Sam Donahue Orchestra, and then joined up with Red Norvo in 1941, later performing also with the bands of Stan Kenton and with Benny Goodman's bebop orchestra. He also recorded extensively as a leader on various labels, including Savoy Records, Trans-World, Jazztone, and Discovery Records. Now in his 80s, Bert continues to play sold-out shows, and shows no sign of slowing down.
